Comments:

I hunted 11 days starting July 10th 2009 with PH Morgan Harris and PH Donovan Harris. Joining us were Zimbabwe PH's Jerry and John. The trackers were Josiah, Mathew and Martin. I was based at Dete Valley 3 camp near Hwange National Park. I was able to take a trophy bull elephant and leopard at Lugo Ranch. I also took a trophy waterbuck and warthog along with a large baboon and black backed Jackal at Dete 3.

The accommodations and food/wine/spirits were excellent. Every aspect of the hunt was better than I had hoped. I would highly recommend Lew Harris Safaris. I have previously had two other outstanding hunting trips to South Africa with them for plainsgame, waterfowl and upland birds. The trip to Zimbabwe was an outstanding tracking hunt for dangerous game. I will be back for Buffalo, Hippo, Crocodile, Sable, Bushbuck and more!
