The full-time services of professional hunters, skinners, trackers, caterers & camp assistants.
Full accommodation and camp equipment including towels, linen, proper lighting, refrigeration and daily laundry.
Full catering including fine cuisine, fresh fruit & vegetables, salads & well stocked daily cooler boxes for each hunting vehicle.
Dietary requirements will be catered for as far as possible
All soft drinks and bottled water (where necessary).All ground transportation in the field - i.e. one fully fitted four-wheel drive hunting vehicle per professional hunter.
Field preparation of trophies and delivery to a local taxidermist for processing.
All compulsory levies charged by PHASA and or Wildlife Departments.
RATES DO NOT INCLUDE:
Personal Expenses:
Gratuities, spirituous liquor, beer & wine, personal expenses, curios etc.
Flights:
International arrival & departure flights and any other flights, either commercial or charter to and from hunting areas, as well as hotel accommodation before, during and after the contracted safari period, including accompanying safari Professional Hunter.
Taxidermy:
Packing, dipping & forwarding of trophies to final destination.
This function is not undertaken by Lew Harris Safaris but by our South African Taxidermist who will deal directly with the client.
License Fees:
If applicable. Non refundable licence fees including VAT.: Lion $500; Lioness $400; Leopard $400; White Rhino $520; Buffalo $225; Elephant $520; Giraffe $150, Hippo $300.
License fees may vary depending on which province the hunt is conducted in.
Government value added tax (VAT):
14% VAT on all daily rates.
Airport pickup and drop off:
from/to the nearest airport from/to the hunting area @ $650 (incl. VAT) per vehicle.
Additional vehicle hire:
Lew Harris Safaris owns Toyota Double Cab 4x4 safari vehicles which can seat 4 passengers and an eight-seater bus, but if an additional vehicle is required for the safari,
this will be at the clients cost. Lew Harris Safaris will endeavour to hire the most suitable vehicle for transfers etc at the best cost to the client. Lew Harris Safaris is
responsible for the fuel.
Area Transfer Fees (including VAT):
IF APPLICABLE. Short transfers within 1 province @ $700 per vehicle. Long transfer fees, from 1 province to another @ $950 per vehicle.
Both short and long transfers exclude cost for cars hired by clients.
Other Activities:
The cost of any Touring & Sightseeing and side trips, and any additions to the confirmed safari itinerary.
Northern Cape Province Plains Game Licence @ US$ 114 per hunter.
